Footman’s room
Resting on the top floor of the house within the front north-eastern Dutch gable, the Footman’s Room was once the servants’ quarters. Today it is a wonderfully tranquil guest room with beautiful views over the neighbouring meadow and into the heart of the village.
Standout features of all our top floor rooms, are the original pegged green oak beams, still bearing the marks of their assembly over four centuries ago.
The Footman’s Room includes a brass and iron double bedstead, ensuite shower room, television, Wi-Fi, hairdryer and hot drink-making facilities.
Accessibility
While the charm of the Footman’s Room is enhanced by its access via a steep staircase, it’s important to note that this makes it unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.
